Excellent breakfast and location, very helpful staff
Unattractive reception area and dinggy hallways
Upgraded to best room with balcony overlooking the Basilica St Sernin square and thoroughly enjoyed the location, close to center of Toulouse yet on a quiet residential/commercial area. Entrance is a little intimidating as a modest side street walk up to second floor reception - two star but with charm and service. Good value.
the views of the Saint Sernin tower from my room
Breakfast a bit scarce
Location was excelling, staff very friendly. Rooms were typical of this area. Small. Wifi very weak on puppet floors. Elevators do not run after midnight. Made it difficult to depat at early morning had to go down 5 Floors with bags. Very dangerous. Otherwise nice location and excellent staff.
The hotel was good. We enjoyed our stay.Value for the money
THe reception staff was not very competant and not helpful,,,
Very helpfull staff, nice designed rooms.
Payant parking for 15 euro for 1 night, the same price as everywhere in the city.
the location is excellent, right next to the most beautiful brick built Basilica: St Sernin.
The room with a bathtub-shower in the room may look cute, but is a compromise which doesn't really work. The underground parking is just opposite, so fine for location. Just don't try to park there with a big car unless you have nerves of steel!!
My room was too noisy... the elevator was inside my room (number 35). The shower was badly designed, and the water nearly reached the bed and a rat said hello to me one morning from the ventilation tube.
Wonderful location and friendly staff
The hotel aspires to be a boutique hotel but the finishes and fittings were not of the required standard - loose handles, ikea hooks, showers difficult to operate....
The hotel is in a very old building and everything smells like dust. The room was not really clean and the corrdior give you a very bad impression of the hotel with dirty carpet. Additionally, problems with the WLan connection which was not available a complete evening.
It is in the middle of the old centre of Toulouse nearby a lovely square.
The rooms facing to an 11th century Dom, that's very unique!
Delightful staff-lovely room with stunning view
Young staff at desk very helpful if you need advice or information on places to go. Pretty location near St.Sernin Church. Nice restaurants around the corner, especially LeSherpa for a cup of tea and pancakes. A good part of town, not too far from TGV station.
I think management should be more in-tune with things. Arrived on a very cold day, and hairdryer attached to wall in bathroom not working, so they leant me a cheap basic one. Then, that night, it was bitterly cold and air con was not working, so I got no sleep. Staff on duty tried to fix it. Really, the manager should have offered me a free buffet breakfast or even a cup of tea, to compensate for the cold. At a small place like this, the managers could even try introducing themselves and invite us to let us speak up of any problems. It was 6 degress the following morning, so it must have been less than that during the night. bbbbrrrr. Wi Fi simply does not work. So unfair that you pay for these things and they dont give you what you pay for. I felt I would have been branded a whinger if I had spoken up about the WiFi, as I had already alerted them of hairdryer and air con not working ( note, the aircon was fixed the next day, which was good). The manager needs to understand that international guests need WiFi to do things like banking, or to check other info such as museum openign times, not merely for frivolous things such as Facebook. Shame that there was no internet on computer in common area....so, I had to pay for time at an interent cafe to do my banking etc. I live in a house with concrete slabs between each floor and I manage to get WiFi to work, so the owner needs to buy something called a RANGE EXTENDER to improve the area covered by WiFi, not expensive at all. So, we ended up hanging at McDonalds to use their WiFi. An English newspaper would not go astray either, considering no English news on TV and unable to use WiFito look at online newspapers.
Not far from train station. Bed was comfy and clean.
The tv was broken and you couldn't see the screen properly.
